Renee Rouleau Vitamin C&E Serum Review
We all know and agree on how Vitamins C&E are beneficial for the skin. This combination is essential for collagen production in the skin, it helps in reducing discoloration and it is packed with anti-oxidants which reduce the aging process and the production of any harmful cells.
The skin are market is full with brands that offer Vitamin C serums. I happened to find Renee Rouleau website while I was in the hunt for a new skin care line. It says about it serum:
"Vitamin C&E Treatment offers 14% stable, no-sting vitamin C with a pH of 6.8 to lighten brown sun spots, prevent blackheads, even out skin tone, lift discoloration from breakout scars and reduce the appearance of wrinkles while encouraging collagen production. This uses a powerful time-released delivery system to slowly diffuse the highest concentration of three stabilized forms of antioxidants deep within the skin at a cellular level for maximum age-defying protection. You'll love this 'glow in a bottle' and will see a dramatically noticeable improvement in your skin's appearance with continued use."
It seemed so promising especially that it is mentioned somewhere that Renee Rouleau is a spa for celebrities and her products are widely used among them.
The price range of her line is too high. It was not a problem to me at the time because of all the packed nutrients I am going to receive when applying the serum to my face.
It is described in the website as:
"A white color, this serum has a very thin lotion feel with soft hints of a grapefruit and orange citrus scent."
The packaging of the serum is very luxurious of course, however, the texture of it is too light!! It feels like you are holding a foam product. and one pump is never enough for the skin. The product evaporates the second it touches the skin. I like to be optimistic and think that the product is being absorbed to my skin immediately.
The serum is somehow fine but it definitely does not deserve the price tag. I liked Sanitas Vitamin C Serum waaaaaaay more, and I found sooner and better results than the Renee's.
I believe I am not going to buy it again.
