Hello Beauties; Clogged pores, makeup residues, black heads, pimples and others all leads to the conclusion that we are active women who enjoy make up, sun and overall going out thing... However at the end of the day when we look at the mirror and get annoyed by these little imperfections, Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding can come to the rescue. Honestly, I love love this mask, you can feel the charcoal pulling out dirts and oils like magnet. Once I first got the mask I was excited about the contrast of white and black swirl in the jar. I thought I needed to mix the jar but I did not. I used a cotton swap and picked up some of the mask and covered my face with it. The tingling sensation starts immediately, you can feel the mask absorbing stuff out of your skin. After 10 minutes I was the mask with lukewarm water and enjoy the fresh skin I get everytime. Honestly the effect gf the mask does not last more than few hours so it is ideal for before occasions treatmen...

What to Expect When doing a Facial Treatment

Image
As a start and according to my aesthetician, a facial treatment is needed every 4-5 weeks. In some cases when the skin is in good condition as in no acne, clogged pores,oils..etc, a facial treatment could be postponed to be every 6-7 weeks. Always make sure to do your facial in an authorized clinic, no salons or spas, and always make sure to talk to the technician who is going to do the facial for you. Discuss your concerns with her/him and make sure she/he have the proper knowledge and know your needs. Facials are divided into two  parts - based on the expected results- : 1- Tools / Machines  2- human effort (technician/beautician) Most tools/machines in facial treatments are the same. Vapor machine, facial cleansing brush, smaller facial cleansing brush, pores closing machine..etc. They are very important steps to clean the pores and prepare the skin for extractions. Also they are crucial in closing the pores at the end of the facial treatment to avoid any ...

Stretch Marks - How to Prevent or Cure them

Image
Most of us have stretch marks, might be because of pregnancy or sudden weight gain or loss. Some of us have them very non-noticeable and blurry while others have deep marks. Stretch marks are not shallow and they are not formed on the skin surface. They are deep wounds which are sunk deeply in the skin. Therefore, they are not easy to remove. Basically people with stretch marks are divided into 4 groups: 1- Don't have stretch marks and not expecting to - Preventing Stretch Marks- 2- Don't have stretch marks and  expecting to especially in the early pregnancy 3- Have light, shallow stretch marks 4- Have deep stretch marks After so many researches and trials this is what I found to cure stretch marks: 1- Don't have stretch marks and not expecting to   - Preventing Stretch Marks- Moisturize!! Moisturize your body especially around belly, arms and legs areas with a body lotion/moisturizer that has vitamins C in it. Vitamin C stimulates the production ...

Hair Botox Treatment by Naturia - Experience and Review

Image
Bonne Jornee Mes Bellas !! This post is going to be about my experience with the Naturia Hair Botox treatment, process and review.  First about my hair, I have thick, wavy and some-how frizzy hair, I do not have the "afro" hair. It is only wavy and frizzy. Of course my frizzes wake up in the humidity. It is never a good day in the beach :D Anyway, I was always curious about the new hair treatments out in the market. Especially after the revolution of  non-formaldehyde based treatments. I read alot about keratin, botox, collagen, protein and other treatments. I was always hesitate to try any, because I do not stand flat hair by any means. I love the volume in my hair and I never wanted o loose it. After reading and researching about the various treatments. I decided to try the Botox Treatment, especially that it does not take away your volume and curls and it doesn't straighten or flat-en the hair. It provides the hair with the needed nutrients and ma...

Very Dry Cuticles are Gone !

Image
I tried everything. Moisturizers, mani-pedi and cuticles oil. Nothing worked, the results disappear in few hours! I am just a dry skin monster. My body skin inhales moisturizers. It is never enough hydration for it. Not to mention that I drink water in very good amounts.  It is just me being dry for ever - Hahaha- . I visited one beauty salon once, I was trying to get rid of my gelish nail polish. The spa expert recommended the gelish so I can stop my nails from breaking! So I  noticed how they put the gelish remover liquid in a cotton swap and wrap it on my nails using foil. This way the liquid penetrated very well to the nail and it takes no time and effort when removing. In the same night I got a teaspoon of coconut oil and a teaspoon of almond oil with a spritz of lemon juice. I heated the oils first using a water bath - the same method used to melt chocolate- . I put the mixture all over my cuticles and nails, soak cotton swaps with the mixture and wrap them ...

Origins Charcoal Mask - Glam Glow Dupe / Review

Image
Origins is a company that is committed to environment and everything they produce is organic as much as they could do about it. They have interesting products ranging from daily skin care to treatments. I own many of their products, however their Charcoal Mask caught my attention. It is so similar to Glam Glow Youth Mud. It is basically a clay mask. It comes off the skin with the same grey color as the famous Glam Glow Youth Mud, Dries the same way and color. And when rinsing off, it exfoliates the dead skin. When it dries it sinks into the pores of the face and you can tell it is absorbing all impurities and oil out of the pores. After rinsing, the skin feels so clean and refreshed. Cleaning the pores reduces breakouts and white, black heads and helps to keep the skin clear and toned. This mask can be applied twice a week. I use it once a week only as it is a little bit harsh on my skin to be used twice. The texture of the mask as I said earlier is so similar to Gl...
