Renee Rouleau Toning Cloths Review
Did you know that when using a cotton pas, 50% of the liquid product you are applying on it is absorbed by the cotton pad itself. Hence you are going to need more quantities to do the job perfectly. This is one of the great losses we face when using cotton-based tissues. Its absorption rate is very high. Similar to beauty blenders and sponges.
I was introduced to Renee Rouleau Toning Cloths through her website. Somehow the description she wrote was very convincing to me. After looking also at the price and the amount of tissues in each box, it made some sense. I got almost 135 tissues for 13.50 $. It is like 0.1$ for each tissue. Also these tissues are recycled and recyclable which is very considerate for the environment.
She stated in her website that:
"Toning Cloths by Renée Rouleau is a skin accessory to reduce toner waste instead of using highly absorbent cotton balls or cotton pads. These economical, lint-free, fuzz-free cloths use a soft blend of fibers to absorb 50% less product, while feeling extremely soft and gentle on the skin. Toning Cloths are sold in a box made from 100% recycled paperboard."
After using these cloths for the first time I noticed the huge difference! Not only they are very soft and gentle on the skin, but also little of any product goes really looooong way. When using Bioderma water based makeup remover, I used to squeeze the bottle more than 3-4 times to get my eye makeup gone. Yesterday I used one to two squeezes only! I am truly impressed by the quality and the performance of these cloths. They are also very gentle and light on the eye area. They don't have any rough texture or feeling.
Totally recommended for all makeup junkies and toner/makeup removers freaks. Give them a try. They are totally worth it.
Until Next Time...
