List of foundations I used recently and reviews

Hello Bellas:

I always tend to try new foundations. I have dry to normal skin so it is hard for me when I try to use  full coverage foundations. they are mostly too drying and matte, and some of them cracks near my mouth .

So  This is a list of the foundations I use since the beginning of this year, some of them worked so good for me others were a bad experience:

MUFE HD Foundation:

This is my favorite in the list, it is very light weight yet very full coverage and build-able. It leaves the skin flawless and perfect like it has been photo-shopped. Great for taking photos. I usually use a brush dampened with Fix+ or a damp beauty blender to apply it. Both ways it wears beautifully.

Clinique Perfect real makeup foundation:

I was so excited to try this foundation, especially knowing that Clinique is medical makeup brand, which makes you more relaxed when trying their products. However, this foundation did not work for me at all. It is horribly Matt, and it settles in the fine lines and pores. It gives powdery finish like you are wearing a mask. I tried to use it with primers and set it with make up setting spray, I tried also to hydrate it with fix+. Nothing worked for me. After discussing this foundation with some of my friends we figured out that it is something in the formula of their products, their BB and CC creams give the same powdery effect, and settle in the face imperfections. It was a very bad experience. I will never repurchase it again.

L'oreal Lumi Magique:

My definite love of all times. Not only it gives the face a beautiful dewy-youthful finish, but also it is a drugstore brand! very affordable. I can not believe that this quality can be achieved by a drugstore makeup brand. It is sheer to medium coverage, yet build-able and very light weight. It never clogged my pores or caused me any skin reaction. It does not settle in the fine lines or pores. I apply it with a foundation brush usually but when I am seeking a double illuminating effect, I apply it with a damp beauty blender and fix+. It wears beautifully and stays all night. I love it!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation:

I do not know the reason why I did not like this foundation. Maybe because of its color range. I am a fair skin tone, and I believe I bought the shade vanilla from this foundations. It was horrible, it felt like I am painting my face, literally. The color matched me perfectly but the feel you get after applying this foundation is very unsatisfying. You feel you are extremely extremely flat, no dimensions for your face and like you painted your face a sticky paste! My hoola bronzer did not blend very well on this foundation. and it stays on the surface of the skin. Any little motion near your face can take off alittle bit of this foundation. I do not like it and I will not buy it again.


Dior foundations:

I love dior  line. Very classy and fancy, very high quality. This foundation is beautiful. But when you think about its price, I believe you could find a better high end foundation. This foundation wear beautifully how ever it is extra Matt to me. It leaves the skin very velvety and smooth. But I did not like that is drying on me. For normal to oily skin I believe this foundations works wonders on you. Such a beautiful add to your collection.
