How to take care of your Non-Mink Lashes - last for more than 5 wears

When I stick to one pair of lashes and that pair becomes my ultimate favorite that I want to wear each and every single day of my life. This is when I discovered how to maintain non mink lashes so they can last longer.

Most of the lashes that I wear are so popular and known, so it is almost impossible for me to get the lashes I want whenever I like. They are most of the time out of stock.

So I started following these steps and they improved the life of my lashes:

Pull the lashes out of their tray very softly:

when you get your lashes brand new in the packaging tray, pull the lashes out of the tray using tweezers very gently. Do not take them off harshly as this could deform the lashes style or at least damage their band.

Do not apply Mascara over them:

When applying false lashes, it is essential to apply mascara for your own lashed so they do not appear grey-ish under your falsies. It is not pleasant looking at all. Always apply your mascara before applying false lashes. This way you preserve the style of your lashes.

Take them off the eyes very gently:

Take your falsies off in delicate motion. So not use water or soap to take them off. Incase of water proof lash glue, use a cotton sway with water-based make up remover and run it on the lash band on your eyes. The cotton swap will take off the glue and the falsies will fall easily.

Clean the band of the falsies using non-oil based make up remover:

When taking your falsies off, always clean the band where you used glue, use a cotton swap to with water-based make up remover and scrub gently. They will be ready to use by next time. you can run some of the makeup remover on a cotton pad and clean the lashes very gently, in case some pigments or lash glue stained them.

Store falsies in a clean container:

Always store your falsies in a clean  container with lid. We need them to stay disinfected and clean, after all you are applying them on your eyes.

Those are the steps I follow with all my lashes especially the non-mink ones. I hope you found this useful.
