I wear Make up everyday... Am I damaging my skin?!
YES... Imagine that your skin is a creature who has some pores to breathe from, and you just cover this creature and block all the air from entering... Can you imagine what will happen to the creature? That is exactly what is happening each time you cover your face with tons of foundation, powders, concealers and other products. Not to mention that each of them has its own wide range of chemicals and mineral oils. Those products that we wear penetrates its toxic chemicals into our skin, clogs the pores, encourages aging and dehydrates the skin. Even at the end of the day where you want to take off your make up, you start rubbing and adding more chemicals "make up removers" to the skin.
Long story short, as much as makeup makes us feel good about our appearance, in the other hand it is damaging our skin badly.
As I said in my earlier posts, I am a heavy make up user, I wear make up everyday. Foundations and BB creams are essential in my life. So it took me a long time and trials to figure out what is good for my skin and how can I minimize the damage I am causing everyday :D .

Ofcourse not!!! I am not going to ask you or eve ask my self to put away make up! I LOVE MAKE UP!! However we can prevent the make up chemicals damage with right supplements and skin care products.As I said in my earlier posts, I am a heavy make up user, I wear make up everyday. - Never go to sleep with make up on.
- Clean the face daily.
- Gently scrub the face daily. Here is a face and body organic, home made scrub
- Apply detoxing masks once or twice a week - Here is a good and affordable mask
- Moisturize with organic products.
- Flush your toxins, DRINK WATER - The changes that Happened after drinking water
- Use water-based, clinical make up removers - BioDerma is the best, here is my review
- Have Anti-Oxidants supplement
- Have Omega 3 supplement, avoid omega 3,6,9 supplements as they have fattening effects
- Sleep enough - average 8 hours-
- Avoid Stress
- Release toxins by sweating - Work Out-
- Eat Healthy - Anti Aging Yummy Smoothie
