How to avoid your concealer from creasing ! - My best way for a crease-less concealer

Creasless concealer ! how hard that is to achieve. No matter how expensive or affordable your concealer is, the little fine lines in the eye circle area will always find its way to suck in your concealer. I used to go for every concealer that has "creasless" stamp on it !!.They do help but not as I wished for.

So finally I found a new way to wear my  concealer, and frankly speaking, it improved my concealer look about  80%. So these are the steps I follow:

Tone and Refresh:

Toning your face and eye area not only feels refreshing and clean, but also takes all residues and oils left on your skin for a smoother make up application
I use Rose Water Face Spray from Boots:

Moisturize !!

yes, I know, everybody says that!!. But yes, you have to moisturize your eye area so your fine lines can be filled with the moisturizer you used. So they do not suck your concealer. I use Sanitas Essential Eye Cream.

Apply a Crease-less Concealer:

Some how they help in the process. I use MAC Prolong Concealer or UD Naked weightless Concealer.

Apply your Concealer with Right Tools:

I used to apply my concealer with a brush. It made it more likely to crease, so now I either apply it with my fingers or using a damp beauty blender. I dampen my beauty blender with MAC Fix+. You can use any hydrating spray. I prefer Fix+ as it helps in hydration and setting my concealer in place. Double effect.

Set your Concealer:

Setting your concealer prompts the life of your concealer. Powders hold concealer in place  so it does not move or wipe away your face. I used to set my concealer with pressed powders. then once I tried setting it with loose powder. OH MY GOD, it made a huge difference. I think loose powder are finer than the pressed one, so it reaches all spots of the concealer including under eye fine lines and hold it in place since it moves freely in opposite to pressed powders. This is the GOLD STEP, SET WITH A LOOSE POWDER.

In case you needed the color that highlighting powder offer, like emphasize from MAC or Banana from ABH. You can always apply them after setting your concealer with a loose powder. I use this technique and it is never cake-y.

I use Max-Factor Loose Powder in Light, you can use translucent loose powder,:

I used to use Bourjois Pressed Powder:

and MAC emphasize

I use Sigma Highlighter Brush F35

I hope you found this useful..

Until Next Time,,
