Salon Moroccan Bath / My through and after Moroccan Bath Routine .
A Moroccan bath is a steam bath that the body is soaked in for a period of time then followed with a special greenish soap that is put on the entire body for around 10 minuets to soften the dead skin, then after rinsing, followed by a special loofah which scrubs the dead skin out of the body. When starting with the loofah you can see the dead skin rolls falling out of your skin surface.
The Moroccan bath leaves the skin glowing, soft, radiant and moves the blood circulation in your body because of the scrub that is done during the bath.It is just a wonderful, relaxing experience that every girl needs to make each month or each two months.
I do my Moroccan bath in salons, It is easier and I can relax while someone else is scrubbing out the dead skin. And it is a treat for myself once in a while.
I bear steam so well, so sometimes the girl in the salon leaves me soaking in the steam for around 15-20 minuets. Then she comes in to put the Moroccan soap on my entire body, and let me soak with it on for about 10-15 minuets, then I rinse it off, and she comes with the loofah to scrub my body. Then I take a shower in warm water and follow with any body, face and hair mask of my request.
I like to follow my Moroccan bath with any nutritious mask as all the pores are open and my body is warm due to the steam and the warm water. I guess you can maximize the effects of masks in these body conditions.
I stay with masks on for around 10 minuets then shower again and wash my body and face with warm to cold water as a final step to close all the pores. You have no idea how if feels after the bath. You feel like you are detoxed!! you removed all the impurities and dirt your body holds from the outside. You feel the immediate smoothness and that your body is breathing.
My Moroccan bath session time is around 45-60 minuets.
You can buy your own loofah from the salon and keep it with you for future sessions.
After the bath is done I use rose water base toning spray - mine is from boots- and spray it generously over my face and neck, this helps to close the pores. While that is absorbed by my skin I start moisturizing my body - if I am not welling to fake tan, if I am, I do not moisturize the body-. Then I moisturize my face and under eye area. Brush my hair with my brush - I always get my hair brush with me- and pump a few of Argan Oil pumps and spread them on my hair. Then I dress with washed clothes - I get them from home-, Perfume and leave to home.

BTW this is a great routine before fake tanning for the first time, As long as the body and face mask are not oil based or that you washed your body very well, we do not want any residues or sloppy leftovers that blocks the color development. I can guarantee that you won't have any blotches if you fake tan after a Moroccan bath because you won't be having any dead skin developing the color faster than the rest of the body.
I hope you found this useful..
Until Next Time..
Have a Beautiful Life..
