Dior holiday Couture Collection Review & Swatches

I got this palette once it was launched. First of all I was attracted to its elegance - basics of Dior- the mat black fabric that covers the palette says it all. the zipper charm is so luxurious, it is not easy to use as you fell you will pull out the whole zipper when you try to open it but it is okay, you can manage.

When you open the palette there is a wide mirror - always a plus -, 6 eyeshadows - day and night time appropriate-, 1 pinkish lipgloss, 1 reddish to pinkish lipstick, 1 baby pinkish blush, 1 golden highlighter, 2 mini eye brushes - never used them- , and 1 mini flat blush brush.

LOVE LOVE THE COLORS

the first raw in the eyeshadows consists of gold shimmer color could be used for the eyelid, peach color which is great as a transition shade and medium brown color that can be used to define the eye in the outer crease or lower lash line. You can absolutely use your immagination with these colors but that would be the basic use of them. These colors are very day appropriate,they can be used for girls' day out or a day party. BUT ofcourse if you can rock those colors at work or something, YOU GO GIRL!

the second row is more for glam look, the black glittery color is to die for!! I would really wear it on my lid and smoke it out with the cool tone taupe color in the same row or the warm peach in the first row, Or you can use the three colors as I mentioned earlier. The very basic way, taupe color as a transition color, burgundy for eyelid and black color for definition.

You can also mix the use of the six eyeshadows and create more looks.

The lipgloss and lipstick are soooooo beautiful !! the texture is so velvety and amazing! I never had a lipgloss last more than a couple of minuets / I just vanishes -_- / this one lasts forever and felt non sticky at all. AHHH I fell for it !!!

The blush is so settle and neutral tone, very day appropriate and girly. Lasts all day and never move, I like it.

Highlight & Blush

Now my STAR OF THE SHOW //// THE HIGHLIGHTER ////  oh my god it is so smooth yet so shimmery and beautiful!! it is similar to hourglass highlighters, makes you glow with in !!,,so delicate so day appropriate, I have the Mary-Lou Manizer, but i always found it hard to wear through day time,, It is like disco ball highlighter,, maybe it is so obvious e on my skin tone but I like it too and use it often.

Finally I find this palette very beautiful and worth the investment. especially if you are a collector, like me.
